Meet Julianna

Dr. da Costa received her D.D.S. degree from the Universidade Paulista School of Dentistry in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2001 and certificate and M.S. degree in Operative Dentistry from the University of Iowa in 2004. She joined the Department of Restorative Dentistry faculty at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry in 2004 and is currently Professor and Division Head of Restorative Dentistry in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation and Biosciences.

She is a member of several organizations including ADA; AOD; IADR; ADEA, and SCAD. Dr. da Costa served as president of the AOD, AADR Dental Materials group program Chair, Chair of ADEA Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials section, Secretary of SCAD, Consultant for the ADA Clinical Evaluator Panel, and ADA Clinical Scientific Affairs. She currently serves as past-president of AOD.
